Technically, anybody can still make money on eBay. Most people can look through their house and find at least a couple dozen items that they don’t want anymore, list them on eBay and end up getting some spending cash. But there used to be a time where anybody could make a full time income on eBay. You could have had absolutely zero knowledge of how to run a business and still be able to make money on eBay. But to quote the great Bob Dylan “times, they are a changin’”
For anybody who is thinking about starting a full-time business on eBay. I strongly recommend that you treat it like a business. Gone are the days when mom & pop stores could just stumble their way into having a successful business on eBay. You need a game plan. It used to be you can throw any piece of garbage on eBay for a 99 cent auction and watch it climb to $30 or $40. It’s not that easy anymore. If you don’t believe me, just go to eBay and see how many listings have no bids. Newbies just don’t get the same free ride they used to. They are going to have to treat an eBay business just like any other kind of business. If you could that, you’re guaranteed success.
The thing is, it really is easy to make money on eBay. It’s just simply not as easy as it once was. People that just jump into this, without knowing the process that’s involved always end up quitting within a month. The sad thing is that you hear more about internet businesses failing than you do succeeding. It really doesn’t have to be this way.
Richard Joyce has become a powerseller on eBay and is now making more money every week selling on eBay than he used to make a month with his old job. To find out how he was able to achieve this, click here to visit his squidoo lens.
